Mountaineering

Mission Statement: To expose students to the mountains surrounding La Paz through hiking, camping, and mountaineering.

Objectives:
 Students will be able to:

• Plan, pack and execute 3 – 7 day camping trips
• Execute a glacier climb with proper guides

Who can participate: All students grades 7 - 12

Limitations / Prerequisites: Participants should be healthy enough to participate fully in all activities. All participants should have parent permission, emergency information, strong bones and lungs, etc.
